A silver flora medal garden, packed with ideas for your garden.

This show garden is based on a farm worker's cottage in rural Northamptonshire that is part of an existing working farm. The garden aims to show that whatever the situation, and given space, gardening is an important pastime and leisure activity.

The garden features the cottage, an outbuilding and a pond with overgrown edges. Climbing roses trail the walls of the cottage and outbuildings. Vegetables are growing amongst the wildflowers in the borders. Planting in the pond area, in particular the banks, include large specimen Hostas, grasses, Iris, Lobelia, with water lilies and duckweed in the pond.
